Mill Park is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia that lies 18km (11 miles) north of Melbourne's central business district. The local government of the area is the City of Whittlesea. The population of Mill Park at the 2016 Census was 29,710.
Mill Park's name originates George and Francis Coulstock, who built and operated a flour mill on the Plenty River in the 1840s. The suburb is split up into 2 separate precincts areas, Mill Park and Blossom Park.
Residential development began in Mill Park in the 1970s and has grown steadily since. It was named as a housing hotspot in Melbourne in 2017 for its affordable housing and high growth potential. Mill Park is home to Westfield Plenty Valley, as well as the Mill Park Leisure Centre, currently undergoing a $25 million renovation.
